Why oil free chips?
I found this book about 1 year ago that has changed my life and I haven’t looked back! I have lost about 35 pounds so far (with some bumps along the way – nobody is perfect) using this plant based oil free diet and I feel amazing! I have such freedom from food. I used to feel so bogged down and in a bad yoyo diet cycle. So the book explains to eat a plant based and you eliminate as much oil as possible from your diet. There is no nutritional value from oil and it adds unnecessary calories – hence the oil free tortilla chips.

We have arrived at my absolute favorite food LOL – Nachos! So now that I can eat my favorite food but a healthy clean vegan version of it, I am so happy!!! I know you’ll love it too!!
These are so quick and easy and best if eaten right away. They don’t really keep like Tostitos or other store bought chips but they’re worth it and you can make them so quickly you could do it every day if needed.

So get your tortillas, a lime, and some spices and you’re good to go!

Oil Free Tortilla Chips
Ingredients
- 4 corn tortillas
- 1 lime
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic salt or onion salt
Instructions
- quarter tortillas
- bake or air fry at 450 for 20 - 25 minutes until crispy but not burnt - watch them carefully! I have burned many batches of these!
- take them out of the oven and sprinkle with 1/2 of the lime juice and the spices - the lime juice will help the spices stick to the chip
